All of the chefs at Dakshin are from India. Since they are Hindu, there is no beef on the menu. Chicken, mutton, and seafood are used. All menu items are made with Halal meat. There is no pork on the menu. Based on the traditional Ayurveda of South India, the cuisine is said to be good for beauty and health, beautifying the body from the inside out.
