The Meiji Seimei Kan has maintained its majestic appearance in Marunouchi, Tokyo, since 1934. When it was first built, the basement floor was home to a bar, main dining room, soda fountain and restaurant with stand-up sandwiches, and was crowded with trendy ladies and gentlemen.
In July 2008, the bronze doors, still intact from those days, were re-opened after many years, and the former social scene was revived as the new club restaurant Century Court Marunouchi.
