"Loving Hut" is a vegan restaurant located a 5-minute walk from Jimbocho Station. It is a long-established store that is celebrating its 14th year with chain stores all over the world, and its concept is being kind to people and the earth. All ingredients are vegetable, no chemical seasonings or alcohol included. They have no-gokun oriental vegan and gluten-free menus, so it seems to be the best food barrier-free restaurant.
Since vegan doesn't contain meat, some people may have a negative image that it's dull, not tasty and expensive, but this is a restaurant that doesn’t work that way. In particular, Taiwanese-style medicinal dumplings, shumai, and dim sum, which are handmade from the dough, have a reputation for being sufficient and delicious, and are extremely popular even with non-vegetarian customers.
The shop is run by a married couple and both of them are vegan. They speak both English and Chinese, so there are many foreign customers.
